Getting to the Stelvio National Park
The best ways to reach the nature reserve
The Stelvio National Park in South Tyrol extends all the way from the Vinschgau/Val Venosta to the Ultental/Val d’Ultimo and Martelltal/Val Martello valleys. Fully accessible all year round, it can be reached either by public transport or private vehicle. Larger urban centres such as Meran/Merano and Bozen/Bolzano lie in the vicinity of the National Park.
Please remember that throughout the National Park, nature conservation is the #1 rule. We care about preserving the environment and we work continuously to ensure that it remains a sustainable and thriving natural habitat. In the related fields of tourism and agriculture, new steps towards improved networking are being implemented by local stakeholders.
In order to reduce the impact of human traffic on the environment we increasingly rely on public transport, to harmonize and mitigate its negative effects on Nature.
On behalf of Nature, we sincerely thank those who opt for public transport.
