Route description
Take the car and go from Laas towards Parnetz. Pass by the farms and park at Bremsberg, the mountain station of the marble railway line. Take the path across the shady forest to reach the forest road on the Laas Valley. The view of the White water marble quarry allows you to get an idea of the treasures hidden in Croda Jenne. Continue on the path until you reach the clearing with the Obere Laaser ALm Alpine Pastures and a fantastic view of Vedretta di Laas and of the surrounding mountains.
Return to Bremsberg passing by the Untere Laaser Alm Alpine Pasture (not manageed) and partially on the Laas Valley road that offers a fascinating view of the marble quarry where the giant marble blocks are transported to the valley with the help of a cable car and the historic marble railway line.
Description to arrive at destination
From Reschen or Meran to Laas by car, across the courtyards group Parnetz to the Bremsberg.
Parking
The car can be parked at "Bremsberg" parking place.
Public transport
By the Venosta train to Laas, and then you have to go on foot.
